AI is currently being trained on real works from real people. AI is a computer that still relies on it’s creators to interface with the real world. As it cannot interface with the real worlds, everything it still knows are from inputs which it uses to learn from. AI will change the world, but by how much will depend on how well it can be trained. I heard on the radio today, musical works were used without the permission of the original artist to train AI. If anything will slow down the training AI it’s copyright.
